A purified grade Potassium Chloride refined to meet United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and Food Chemicals Codex Standards. The crystals are cubical in form, white to translucent in appearance and odorless.

Potassium Chloride Refined 99% USP Grade is used for the production of infusion and haemodialysis solutions, as well as standard injections, for enteral and parenteral nutrition, for potassium tablets, dietary salts, sports nutrition and mineral drinks.

Potassium Chloride is also used for purifying insulin.

In biotechnology it is used as a source of the macronutrient potassium for micro-organisms. Beyond that, it is also used as a raw material in the production of cosmetic substances.
